FAQs

Q: What is needed to establish care with your providers?

When you call for your first appointment, we will ask for your name, date of birth, phone number, and email address. If you have insurance, please also have your card available. We’ll get you set up on our secure patient portal and send your new patient forms directly to you.

Q:What is your cancellation policy?

For cancellations and rescheduling, please contact us at least one full business day prior to your scheduled appointment.  Late cancellations will incur a fee dependent upon the visit type; for current fees please contact us.

Q: What is a naturopathic doctor?

A naturopathic doctor (N.D.) is a licensed physician trained in primary care with an emphasis on preventative medicine, natural therapeutics, and treating the root cause. They are educated in conventional medical sciences and undergo rigorous training in natural therapies at a four year naturopathic medical college. In Oregon, licensed naturopathic physicians can serve as your primary care provider, order diagnostic labs and imaging, prescribe natural and pharmaceutical medications, perform minor surgery and administer intravenous (IV) nutrients and therapeutic injections.

Q: Do you bill insurance?

Our clinic bills commercial insurance for office visits and other covered services. We are currently in network with several major insurance providers; you may contact the front desk for our updated list of insurance plans. Please note, we are unable to bill OHP, Medicare and Medicaid. You are responsible for knowing your insurance coverage and can contact them directly with questions by using the member number listed on your insurance card.

Q: What should I expect at my appointments?

At Framework, we provide you with individualized care by first investing time into getting to know you, your unique health history, and your goals. At your 60-minute new patient visit, we will review all major aspects of your health with you and prioritize listening to your primary concerns. As indicated, your provider can perform physical exams, and order labs and imaging.

A typical follow-up visit at Framework is 30 minutes long so that you have an opportunity to update your provider about ongoing health issues and receive care for new health concerns. We pride ourselves on providing an in-depth review of your lab and imaging reports during visits and updating your treatment plan to reflect your changing needs.
